Within our land of Avalon
We prosper as we may
We had a future that look-ed strong
With royal child on the way
Born to us, but taken far
By a pawn of the trade
We saw how dark our sun had gone
Our future turn’d to fade
Named Amethyst, we sought her far
A party followed trail
But though they deem-ed where she’d be
It was to no avail
Our searchers return-ed with news
And body of newborn
And though we off’d our prayers and dues
Our Amethyst was gone
A ritual was brought to bear
For King, Queen and all
And Amethyst she did appear
To bring peace to her soul
And as we said our sad goodbyes
And felt that pain so real
With her love protecting us
Our lives, hearts, lands she’ll heal
And as we fight for freedom
I know she stands beside us
Our guardian through times to come
Through her we will be fearless
Her beauty touched our hearts and minds
Of those there that day
The jewel in the crown of Avalon
Is how she will remain
